As part of the development of Badminton in Portugal, the Portuguese Badminton Federation is organizing the III Badminton Summer Camp – 22 to 26th August 2020. This training camp will be supervised by the National Coaches Team, Jorge Cação, Fernando Silva and Diogo Silva, and again with the presence of Scott Evans (Ireland), currently coach in one of the most prestigious academies of badminton (Peter Gade Academy).
It is an honor and a privilege to have once again Scott Evans, one of the most prestigious internationally renowned badminton athletes / coaches. Scott Evans participated in 3 Olympic Games, 10 World Championships and reached 23rd place in the world ranking.
The Training Camp will be held at the Badminton High Performance Sports Centre, in Caldas da Rainha, and will be open to all levels of Badminton, from learning, development and improvement.
In addition to badminton practice there will be plenty of space and time for funny and social activities.
Due to the current situation around COVID-19, we will open the pre-application on June 8th, more than 2 months before the event, so that we can work and provide all the means of security and logistics, as the current situation requires.
We strongly emphasize that you do not purchase your flight tickets until you receive a confirmation email from Portuguese Badminton Federation regarding your application to participate or confirmation that the event will take place.
Although the situation is still unpredictable, we hope that the situation will improve in the coming weeks and recommend that you send your pre-application to help us prepare for this event so special for us.
